I flew with an instructor. It was amazing. I can’t even describe it. He let me land it too.
Guess who just flew a Cessna 172 Skyhawk today (face reveal)

K. I live in murica.@Mustang51
@AerialFighterSnakes that’s cool! I think that should be fine. At least in the UK they allow that so I hope that’s okay wherever you live!
Yeah. I’m starting by getting my sports pilot license first incase I don’t pass my medical exam due to my Asperger's syndrome.@Mustang51
That’s really cool! Are you going to take flying lessons now?
Thx.@ND40X
@AerialFighterSnakes
AMAZING :3
Good for you!
@Thelegitpilot13 yep
@Armyguy1534 oh, okay. Fun!
@Thelegitpilot13 I'm planning to go to spring next year because I won't be able to do summer
@Thelegitpilot13 nope couldn't go to summer encampment because of a vacation and robotics
I couldn’t agree more. You don’t have to do war to be an aviator. Also this was just a flight that my grandfather set up. He’s friends with the flight instructor (and he also happens to be a pilot). I didn’t do flight plans yet. That’s to come though.@Viper3000ad
@Armyguy1534 oh, that sucks. Was it a flight encampment?
Very jelly here
@AerialFighterSnakes we'll get em next summer
Oof. Presses f to pay respects Don’t worry. You’ll get em next time.@Armyguy1534
@Thelegitpilot13 I was going to do a glider but it was canceled due to weather
And yes. That’s a water bottle. You, my friend, are the first person to point that out.@Randomdoggo
I don’t remember. My grandfather is friends with the instructor (he also happens to be a pilot). I’ll ask him next time I see him.@MrSilverWolf
Yep.@Armyguy1534
Congrats! I remember the first time I flew, it was great
FACE REVEAL
Nice! What version of the 172 was that? 172G? 172H?
Pretty epic but he let you land?
I've flown a Cessna 172 3 times through Civil Air Patrol and once through my aunt
Pretty sweet man!
GREAT,this why i keep saying that you don't have to be in the military, or do killing stuff to feel the joy of aviation .
How much time did you spend in your pre-flight check ups . Did you closed your flight plan by your self?
