Hey folks! I've been working on developing an FCS for torpedoes the past few weeks, and my theory is all there- just awaiting actual building in SP. Before I do that though, I want to make sure that my theory behind it makes good sense.
So, to any of you out there in the community with the time and knowledge to solve a moderately complicated kinematics problem, please leave a comment below! I'd greatly appreciate your help.
I'm a little late, but yeah, it should work.
hello its me again I figured out the stuff for the f-16 BTW was able to make different flap stages with activation groups with clamp!

MCP asked for it- read the thread and the code here.

Thanks for the help. I'll begin testing and troubleshooting soon!
Dude... I can barely understand 1% of what this document says. But that thing looks awesome !
And about your procedural crane, how did you make these pistons work one after each other ?
@SnoWFLakE0s The Lead Angle calculation method is correct, as i have done almost exactly the same thing, although in the context of intercepting a ship with another ship. The Target Velocity calculation looks like it works, although only if the ship is travelling parallel to the target. It may be possible to add a "Delta-Range" function to determine the perpendicular factor as well, although i understand that it may complicate input, operation and programming.
Apart from that, however, the system looks as though it will work effectively as it stands currently.

Thanks for the reply! I just need you to review my work for the purely physics-based section, the conversion of physics into funky trees hasn't been done completely yet. That's for me to work on and fix! Anyhow, here's the documentation of my process.
I can definitely give it a shot. Is this projectile or reference frame kinematics?
Edit: ignore the question. I read the forum and this is probably a projectile motion problem.
i could give it a try
Someone help this man like how he helps everyone
