This is going to be a more serious forum than usual so feel free to read something else if it’s not what your into.
As a builder who is still learning skills as I go along, I try and incorporate every design method and detail that I can into each of my builds. I try and make each one the best as I can, now this may seem to be a good thing as my builds will be of good quality. However, it means that projects can take an immense amount of time to complete which leads me to be demotivated.
For example:
This is a project I’m working on, it will have a full interior and every bolt on the exterior. I cant bring myself to complete this as it will take so long. And if I upload it without its full potential I’ll feel like an opportunity is lost.
Hence why I have not uploaded in a while.
I am not saying that I dislike sp, I love it but I just don’t have as much time.
@P0TET0Z I have lots of cool unfinished builds too, there is just much you can create and finish
Well I'm not in the same situation, but similar(?)
I have tons of unfinished builds.
.
I'm thinking of uploading them as unlisted so I have them on the internet
Belugasub being serious??? Impossible, you imposter hand over the real belugasub and all the Goldfish you've taken
@SodiumChloride I'm catching up
I have so many unfinished projects it's not even funny mostly because the game wanted to glitch them up that made most of them useable.
So pretty had to start from scratch for everything.
@SnoWFLakE0s so im not the only one with this problem?
ive started to stray away from high detail stuff, doing ships that are 'low poly' are fun cus i mainly get to play with mechanics
that being said doing surface detail is something im just mentally incapable of lmao
if you need to take breaks take all the mf time you need fo stuf
You need help @SnoWFLakE0s
This is exactly how I feel. I don’t put custom control surfaces on my aircraft (unless absolutely needed like a flying wing) cause personally I struggle with them, and also people will expect my to put them on every aircraft that follows.
Help me... My funky tree codes are 3k characters long and SP won't accept it. I'm boggling my brain to fix it, but it's not looking good... My build has already gone on delay for three weeks now as well, lol.
I have no idea how I pushed a plane out within a week 3 years ago
It takes me like 3 months to complete a plane now lol
Oh my god
This is completely me lol
I’ve been experiencing this, especially with my descriptions. I have decided to cut back on word count, because I’d rather not write a Stephen King novel with each of my uploads.
Yeah look at my project list in my bio lol
Professionals have standards
totally relatable
I only build things that I’m super super inspired to build and I know I’ll have the motivation to finish will all the details. I have a secret alt account for lower effort stuff
Sometimes you just need to say:
Oh F* it
If you’re missing a few bolts no one is going to notice I guarantee it it looks great now and I’m confident that if you post it soon you will get many updoots
