Today, Ryan Knewman went airborne and his driver side got slammed into at a good 186 MPH, and he went sliding on his roof for a good couple hundred feet, and when it stopped I noticed that the fuel cell was broken open and fuel was poiring out right next to an open flame. So please please pray for him, thank you. I am worried sick aboit him.

The cool thing about this is that Ryan is actually an engineer as well, he actually invented the bar that helped save his life, the Newman bar.
Update: Ryan Newman is awake and talking to family and doctors. So far so good.

@WarHawk95 The impact was so hard that when he hit, the roll cage and other safety features the car has made the car rebound off the sfaer barrier and made it go airborne. A similar wreck that Newman was in was at Talladega in 2009 when Brad Keselowski spun Carl Edwards and Edwards got airborne and Newman T-Boned his left rear sending Edwards into the catch fence. Everyone was ok.

@e1theoriginalguy Yeah, I just misspelled his last name. Update on Newman's condition: He is still in Serious Condition, but is stable, he will survive. No word yet on if he will be on track in the 6 again. I will keep you all posted.
