@AndrewGarrison
hello, i was wondering where i can submit bug reports and suggestions for SPVR? as i already found something a bit annoying in my first few seconds of loading in.
i am running on windows 11
start of suggestions / bugs list:
grab hitboxes on joysticks are way too small, and i find myself phasing my hand through a joystick rather than grabbing it
menu button on occulus quest does nothing, making it pause the game would be nice
yokes on the stock craft are too close to the player, and i find myself unable to pull up because i cant phase a controller through my chest
the abilty to just tilt your controller instead of moving it manually (have this be something that has to be enabled in settings)
disconnecting and reconnecting oculus link (havent tried airlink yet) will cause the oculus quest 2 to lose tracking until reboot.
the ability to copy an aircraft link and use CTRL + L to load it in would be nice
twist the controller left and right to yaw would be cool, using the joystick sorta breaks the immersion. its also how the VRchat flight simulators do it.
using levers on binary inputs (on/off or activation groups) will lead to rapid toggling on and off
i cant disable the day/night cycle and its driving me nuts
the terrain goes into low poly mode when its in plain sight, even on high terrain settings, it looks like im playing on mobile. example screenshot
the ability to search with multiple tags at once in the built-in browser
I need the ability to grab and interact with things from a distance, as I was playing the game on my couch, and a lot of couch punching happened while I was trying to press buttons and grab levers
@WNP78 that would be a good idea
@3 the easy way should just be to select SPVR playtest in your steam library and press the "discussions" tab.
@WNP78 pasted the link directly into the steam client, worked there
@3 yep, make sure you're signed into the steam account that you're in the alpha with when you go to that link

Exactly what is in the email.
