Motion blur trick

15.4k Reuben201103  4.8 years ago

Basically I was messing about with screenshots and ways to make them more interesting and realistic, and I thought, how do I make them look as though the aircraft is actually moving? And so I started looking for a solution and found a way of creating realistic motion blurred images where the aircraft is clear and the background is blurred.

iOS method

  1. Set the camera to “chase”
  2. Set your camera angle
  3. Begin screen recording the flight
  4. A few seconds later finish the recording
  5. Crop the recording to get rid of any parts you don’t want in it
  6. Convert the video to a Live Photo to do this I recommend this app
  7. Once you have the Live Photo swop up on it in your photos
  8. Swipe right on the options and set it to “long exposure”
  9. Screenshot the image
  10. Post as you would any other picture

@Chancey21 you could do that but not worth the £4.99 in my opinion

Or, download procreate, and select motion blur

Cool effect but it looks more like your flying through some smudged clouds
