The mirror tool has decided that it doesn't want to make the drag on the left side be the same as the drag on the right side. It is driving me insane, because literally every airplane I have made has been forced into autoyaw because of this. I am about to quit this stupid game.
@ArcturusAerospace oh that’s right I forgot it was added to the game, and yes single engines airplane have a bit of “auto roll” in the form of P factor and torque (at least the prop stuff)
@MrSilverWolf
1. Overload is included with the game, so of course I have it.
2. Wouldn't a single-engine prop plane autoroll?
Well that’s a simple fix, either get Overload and remove the drag manually or send it to someone to do that for you if you can’t get overload
And I would like to mention that if it’s a single engine propeller plane it is actually supposed to yaw, due to P factor and torque
@edensk
Thanks! I'll use it on my next plane
goes and makes nothing but helicopters, vehicles, and ships for months
@ArcturusAerospace To remove the assymmetric drag?
@edensk
Why?
Thats why i mirror part by part and not everything at once
It's as simple as disabling the drag of parts that aren't centered.
@ArcturusAerospace intresting
@LastManStanding
And then, every so often, it starts working again, but then immediately stops working when I restart, exit the designer, or do anything else.
@ArcturusAerospace thats sad!
@ArcturusAerospace sounds like someone i know
@LastManStanding
Don't do what? Literally everything I do (IRL and in SP) goes like this: I spend days trying to make something work, it works well, and then I go and accidentally ruin days worth of work in seconds.
dont do it
