How can I hide inlets in a way that allows them to still function?

It's for a mech's jetpack, so no fake inlets :)

I'm sure fuselage inlets still work even when obstructed? Or you could make them the same color as a part and nudge them flush with the fuselage
I like putting fuselage inlet blocks in my fake inlets
If you have engines on rotators separate from the main body, you must add inlets on the rotated body

Not related to this, but could any of you help me with this thing?

Convert a fuselage block into an inlet by changing Fuselage-Body-1 into Fuselage-Inlet-1.
This is super useful because the part retains it’s original shape but now it is an inlet :D. Just note that you’ll have to re-do the connections.

Put them on, scale them down and nudge them to a place the sun don’t shine

I do too, but sometimes they don't work.

I use them as detail pieces.
