Generally simpleplanes has lots of detail for crashing such as fire, damage indicators, smoke e.t.c but it lacks interaction effects with the ground and other things.
Examples of this concept include sparks from landing gear at a certain speed, snow/dirt/sand being blown about when a part hits the ground and some sort of light effect/sound for a supersonic boom.
This would especially be important to makers of ground vehicles. I build walkers which would benefit from some sort of dust lifting effect when its feet hit the ground, and tank/cars could have a similar effect when skidding and speeding up.
There is already a splash for water so its about time collision effects were added for the ground, especially in snowy/sandy areas.
THIS i aGREE!
@Ultra0
Yeah, but then the game would have to default to low settings, for the same reason as before.
@ArcturusAerospace
It could be integrated with the quality settings with different effects for high quality and medium, and no effects for low quality
Sounds good, but it should be turned off by default, so that low-end devices can still run the game.

I don’t use user voice, if you look at the responded to and rejected suggestions they date back a few years - since then the dev team seems to have stopped using the site.
