So yeah we probably all know that Triplanes are a thing, I’d be slightly concerned if a SimplePlanes user didn’t know what a Triplane was. Anyway, three sets of wings is kind of a lot.
But apparently we didn’t stop there.
Say hello to the ridiculousness that is the Armstrong Whitworth FK.10, an aircraft with four sets of wings.
Surprisingly enough, this was an actual aircraft that actually served in war. It wasn’t exactly the best fighter of it’s time, but it still proved to be a formidable aircraft to enemy forces.
It’s got a single forward facing gun, and a rear machine gun turret at the back, to defend from flanking enemy fighters. It’s actual top speed irl was about 80-90 mph, but I’ve made it’s top speed in the game around 160-180 mph, just because I don’t really care about accuracy on speed, and I’d rather it go faster so it’s more fun to fly. I’ve given it a somewhat detailed interior, and I tried to get the wiring as accurate as possible, to the best of my ability that is. It doesn’t look as nice as I thought it would, but it’s still ok I guess.
Any-who, idk what else to say, so here’s a weird pic of my cat.
Comment “T” to be tagged if/when I post it!
Can't wait for 5 sets of wings
Lol
@TheKraken3 yeah but it wasn’t a fighting aircraft, so that’s kinda why the FK.10 is so unique, in the sense that it’s, to my knowledge, the only quadruplane fighting aircraft.
@Jerba yeah idk what it’s called but it was never a fighter aircraft, which is what makes the FK.10 unique

What about that one plane with like 12 wings. Is what it’s called but the wings just went on forever
