Anyways, I’m back again, posting from my closet because yes.
Anyways, if you didn’t see the last post, I am building the airframe of the X-02 for Homemade’s Ace Combat Challenge, but doubt I’ll make it in time for the deadline.
Anyways, I got a decent amount of stuff done since the last update, including finalizing the build design. This basically means I have figured out what thickness and width I want for the airframe’s ribs. I also finished the main part of the fuselage and I’m almost done with the rear section. The engines are complete done and I’m waiting for assistance with thrust vectoring.
Now, my plans are to finalize the livery and begin work on the nose and inlets. After I finish that, I will begin work on the wings and landing gear, then weapon systems and the cockpit. Now, for some pictures.
The engine:
The back of the fuselage:
The engines and fuselage:
And finally, the entire thing:
Current part count: 456
Estimated part count when airframe is finished: 1,500
Estimated part count with skin and airframe: 2,000
That’s it for today, I hope you guys enjoy my quick update and have a great day or night.
Thank you. I’m gonna need it @Sinacraft
U need more EASA's Engineers
@Mercyaircraftcorporation goodluck my erusean buddy
Not built right now. I’m focusing on the nose and fuselage rn. The wings are the most difficult part or the build, so I tend to do them last. @Sinacraft
@Mercyaircraftcorporation ah..i mean wing and main stage
