I think that the painting in this game needs a major revamp. It’s lame and you can’t get all of the colors that you want. First off, I think that they should remove the limit for the amount of paint slots on a plane. I see no use for the limit, because literally nothing bad could happen. Second of all, I think that we need a better way of selecting colors. Maybe have a color wheel and an RGB selector so that we could input how much red, green, and blue we want in the color. This isn’t a major idea that will change the game forever, it’s a simple idea that will make life easier.
What i really want is a text block that allows to put text without using fuselages. Would be perfect for cars and anything that has sponsors.
Also, simple rockets 2 has way more customizable engines. And not rocket engines. Jet engines. Bruh.
i do have to agree with "communication is blocked between you and this player" xml files are yeahhhhhhhh.......
It would be nice if the maximum colour limit was raised well above 15. I would like something closer to about 36 or 50 or something. I ALWAYS run out of colours on my builds!
They should add a paint brush so you don’t need to add fuselages as paint and paint that because it looks weird when the plane breaks apart
@jamesPLANESii heyyyyy so you said cummon...you should change that xd
People on this post be like
“Why add this to the game with simple, easy to understand UI that anyone can use, when you can already do it through XML modding, a method that hardly anyone knows how to use, looks really complicated and overwhelming for new people, and isn’t possible on all platforms? What a useless suggestion”
Guys cummon. There’s a reason this person is suggesting this.
Getting the perfect, not 100% saturated colour can be quite difficult sometimes...
I 100% definitely agree!
@L3dg3ndary realistically, its rare that people go over the 15 colour limit and usually when they do its for small parts which aren't too bad to manually change.
@Axartar I see what you mean, but it’s inconvenient and hard to get the right color
welp, I understand what your saying but...
go into the designer suite,
click on a part
open the overload tab
look at materials
change the number next to material
colour change.
mess around with colours and if that isnt going anywhere look at a guide that explains materials. heres one guide
