The upvote system is not fair, and I will never be. People need to accept this. I know, it sucks, and it feels bad when your build doesn’t get many upvotes, but another build of lower quality gets more upvotes, I get it.

People are mad at this and are making forum posts and comments everywhere, but it’s not fixing any problems or helping anything.

It’s not healthy to worry about things like upvotes. It’s just silly internet popularity points. Getting sad because your build didn’t get upvoted is just not a healthy thing. Upvotes honestly don’t matter anymore.

I get that people pour hours upon hours into their builds, only to be surpassed in upvotes by someone else with a lower quality build. Complaining about it won’t do anything. You can’t change how many upvotes you get, but you can change how you view your own builds. I know it sounds cheesy but, it’s more worthwhile to build something and care about the feedback that you get, not the upvotes.

And if you see this happen and are tempted to go to the higher upvoted post, and tell them that their build sucks. don’t, it’s not worth it. Don’t pull someone else down for something they can’t control.
It’s just not a good thing to do.

And there’s something else I feel the need to adress, meme builds. Ok, yes, it’s not good, but people can have fun. And you don’t have to care about it.

Think about it, is it really worth your time to post angry comments and forum posts cuz you don’t think the upvote system is fair.

Be a good neighbor

Don’t bring other people down

And Don’t let internet points dictate your happiness
