You see right, I've been building a Battleship! (For a while now actually) It won't just have big guns, I got a unique solution to using cannons as Flak. I call it the 'Flak Blanket' which means setting different guns (cannons) to different lifetimes for their shells creating a chain of explosions over a great distance.
For simplicity of use I've forgone any use of manual distance setting, instead simply having an area be 'blanketed' with flak explosions thus creating a killzone for enemy aircraft.
@Axartar try again, should be fine
@WarHawk95 invite invalid
@Axartar come here now that I remember this
@WarHawk95 sure! although i'm really inactive at the moment.
@BoganBoganTheMan It's gonna be Richelieu post refit, so I intend to add the proper coloration.
is that richelieu before its American voyage or Jean Bart ?
@Axartar Wanna join my Discord server ? It's dedicated to all SP players who speak french or are learning it
@WarHawk95 a bit ive been learning for ages now, probably 5 (years). im still terrible at it
@Axartar you speak french ?
@WarHawk95 ehh we had to learn it for years, may as well try to use it
yummy
@MintLynx Thank you from all of France ^^
@WarHawk95 I decided to utilize your idea though, since it makes for a better title than my Google-Translating xP
weird spanish you got There
@WarHawk95 I won't lie, I was being a trash and using google translate to gimme the words for 'A Blanket of Flak'.
Oh and "couverture de flak" means "flak cover" not "flak barrage".. Just say "Un barrage de DCA" (DCA = Défense Contre Avions = literally "Defence against aircrafts" or actually AAA)
Why do you non-french-speaking ppl always feel obligated to say french-like stuff each time you make something related to France lmao
Anyway tag me dude this looks awesome
@TanksWorldwide It is a Replica of that exact ship. Don't be too scared, it has 0 drag and no drag calculations, so the potential lag is mitigated if not almost entirely gone. Even with the main release over 1000 parts it'll link to a 400 part unlisted version which should be more friendly.
That's actually a pretty good way to give the battleship's AA a feel of inaccuracy when shooting down planes.
Big Tea please.
