I'm currenly building a "retro" flying saucer with (almost) thruster-only flight controls. Any suggestions on the aesthetics? I won't remove the vertical stabilizers entirely (as "streamlined tail fins" was a common aspect of that era), but everything else is fair game.
Also, this flyer is supposed to have a turreted artillery piece stowed in its underside and some missiles on its flanks.
