SP challenges are basically all the same. Someone sets the rules, people make stuff, and a winner is selected. Recently I participated in this cargo plane challenge. I built this plane for it. I got second, and the winner was this plane. Make your own judgement by flying both planes. Really? Like I have spent more than thirty hours working on all the custom gear and flaps and control surfaces and I got beaten out by a plane with only the boxy default wings? It turned out that the guy who made this challenge didn’t even fly my plane before making the judgement, nor did he consider his OWN rubric either. He just gave the win to that plane after glancing over mine for about 20 seconds. In his winner announcement, I had a long argument with him, during which he tagged two moderators, but neither of them responded. You can read the post here. I hope this is not becoming an angry rant, but the point is some people have very bad judgement and often judge a book by its cover. The cover is only the size of a single page after all.

Some people host challenges just to get upvotes, they dont intend on giving anyone a prize.
And overall it really is the person who is hosting the challenge say and who wins. It could be a very inaccurate thing, so you can ask them how can you improve and what was wrong with your build.

I can agree with this a little bit most challenges are by low ranking users. I'm not saying that all low ranking peoples challenges are bad, but they're less accountable. I have over 100 upvotes in challenges that I never received the award.

I saw the challenges results and I agree. Challenge runners should always stick to their rubric and have no bias going into the judging phase.
What a mess, personally the plane that won was good in regards to their level, but no where near enough to win a challenge with contestants such as you.

I cant believe the creator of the bogus is now nearly silver. Maybe we should rethink life choices XD
