I’d say no because I think the honest reason why Jundroo made SimpleRockets 2 is because the first one was a 2D game and they wanted to make a 3D version of that game but also keep the purpose of the game the same so they can have a 3D game like simpleplanes but also have another game like that but your able to build rockets

I think that Simple Planes 2 was unnecessary and could have been achieved with a proper upgrade of the game engine to achieve more features,And to this day, Simple Planes is still not a very complete game.

To be honest, no. Simpleplanes is already doing great and has been updated frequently enough. The problem for nearly every sequel to a game is that you have to get used to everything. All the new building mechanics, UI, or even the physics. This can be a problem, especially for experienced users. People might lose interest in SP as a whole too. SP right now is good enough and I don't think there should be a sequel. Although, that's only my opinion.
