Resizable wheels are nearly perfect, here are a few missing features I have compiled:
DisableHub=“true/false”
This would allow just the tire to be visible
An attachment point on the hub to spin parts with the wheels (think custom rims or other spinning elements)
An Input Controller for brakes: this is a must. Every airplane in existence has differential braking, and SP needs this to be used properly as a flight sim
Anyone else have suggestions for slight edits to resizable wheels?
ayo point 1 is now a thing
i actually wanted something similar in my nearfar-future post regarding a possible "SimpleCars"
@DeezDucks
@Chancey21 Like it's still in the hottest section of the forums. But that's good since more people will talk about wheels
What do you mean? @tsampoy
how is this still up
More rim choices or atleast a wheel design that makes it more flexible to make custom ones.
Many times i have wanted to change the brake input!
square wheels are superior

@rexzion
@Mulemwa
@RamboJutter
Adding a slider for the wheel size that's separate to the tire size
Realistic wheel physics for a start, SP wheels slide on all surfaces
better tire sound
@WNP78
@AndrewGarrison
Is any of this feasible? Would a “Resizable Wheel 2” part be needed to implement this functionality?
We could write our own ABS programs if brakes had inputs @ACEPILOT109
Fix the traction bug that occurs whenever there's a large shift in mass (i.e. dropping bombs, firing missiles)
better traction/be able to drive over a right angle curb
sinny spike thingy on wheels like a spy car
@CyanWasNotTheImpostor Oh
Spiny spin wheel
Stop them bending around the hub when under load. Stop them juddering randomly.
give guns and cannons diff inputs
Oh thanks, didn't know DisableHub was a thing lol
ABS?
doesnt that "brake torque" thingy in XML do the same?
@CyanWasNotTheImpostor
yes more types of treds and different types of hubs
