I see some people posting a build in public, who then create a variant of this same build but also putting it in public... While other people prefer to post their variants in unlisted. I think that it causes a big difference between users, because often those with the variants in public get more upvotes, which may be unfair. I am personally in favor of those who post their variants in unlisted and who take care to put a link in the description of the original build.
And you, what do you think ?
Depends. If it's a fix to a small issue with the build, link to an unlisted. If it's a very different version based on the craft you previously built, post public. The thing is, if you link your variant too late after you post the original, nobody will really see it.
