You can really 3d print your builds? I just noticed! How long has it been in the game for? Also this is an absolute game changer for me so I can design things for me and my dad to work on (im building an 80+120+80w portable Bluetooth speaker) tell me in the comments what you have used this for too/or are planning my to use it for too!
Wait, i also want to try printing my owb creations on android, but i can.t find the simpleplanes file
@L3FTxR1GHT he was joking dw i knew he was being sarcastic
@X99STRIKER Not cool
@Topfighter oh ok. I’ll try anyways.
oh and if you haven't noticed already that x99striker guy is trolling, so i wouldnt listen to much of his advice
basically if you have a 3d printer you can export your aircraft as a 3d model. From there you can import it into the 3d printing software of your choice and then print.
I don't really understand how 3D printer works, but what I do know is that it is very much possible. In the 1.5 update trailer, they showed an SR-71 and the Pigpen built in game that is 3D printed. And that was like 5 years ago.
@idontknow8b it means you can’t export the aircraft as an .OBJ file to 3D print it yourself, or open up in a modeling program like blender3d to do whatever you want.
@X99STRIKER what does it mean by this then? This is from the actual text after you press the button. “export the aircraft as an .OBJ file where you can 3D print it yourself, or open up in a modeling program like blender3d to do whatever you want.”
@X99STRIKER oh.
No. The button that is clearly marked -3D print/export- is not for 3D printing/exporting. I was planning to use it to print myself a 3D printer so I would have one. But the only reason that didn’t work is because it does nothing.
