Well, I didn't expect to be making this post. But here we are.
After my last build, I figured I'd just stop building. However I've fully lost interest in the game and the site. I don't feel like I'm playing 5 hrs a day and checking the site every 2 minutes anymore.
In my 1.5 years on the site, I've had good times and bad times. However I've met some amazing people, the only friends I've ever had that have really stuck with me all the way through. WiiMini, Noname, TriStar, Default, Fox, PapaKernels, among many others. I've been a controversial character on this site for drama, but I've tried my best to move past that. I helped make one of the largest SP discord servers, even. I've learned many things from this site, the game, and the people on it. I've had a lot of fun, and done some awesome stuff. However, good things come to an end, and this is one of those
So, I'm unbookmarking this tab, and after comments on this post die down, I won't be visiting the site again. Happy New Year, I hope 2022 is a great year for SP. And to the community, keep SP the greatest community on the internet. Farewell, SimplePlanes.

its sad to see you go, but when life gets in the way, you gotta listen to it. it was nice having you around, it was a fun year and a half. drama comes and goes like the waves of the ocean, so do many users around the site. you have put yourself high up on the user board, enough to be among the many old greats of the community who have come and gone. im not sure how you may be remembered, but you will be nonetheless. and yes, we will keep the community clean. or at least try to.
