The influx of new planes built specifically for YouTubers seems to be striking a nerve with some players. Personally, I am overjoyed that so many great YouTubers are covering our game. However, since some find it annoying, I propose the following rules to help find a compromise we can all be happy with.
- Building planes for YouTubers is fine
- Copying planes for YouTubers is not
- If you build for a YouTuber, tag it with the channel's tag by clicking Edit Tags on your airplane's web page. If that tag doesn't exist, let us know.
- Do not name your plane for a YouTuber. This seems to be what is annoying other players. For example "WeaselZone CHECK THIS OUT!" is a bad airplane name. It's spammy and annoying. Instead, name the plane something cool. Give it an actual creative name and then tag it with the WeaselZone tag. Let the tag do the work. It's much easier for a YouTuber to find your plane from a tag than from a name.
