The International Space Station (ISS) will be retired by 2031 as NASA said
So they have the crash it to the Pacific Ocean which is the biggest and the largest ocean on earth!
Goodbye ISS!
You always live in our hearts!
You are the symbol of space, ISS!
Im an ISS fan so I'm so very sad
@TatsuTheOtaku true
Just like the pyramids.
@BeastHunter
@Awsomur It’s built by them.
Don’t forget the lizard people.
@BeastHunter
I thought they will retire it by 2024?
Man, we've known for a long time that the ISS will be retired... at least, in service for the nasa and other space agencies, because maybe it will be recovered by a private company.
Its a bit old news but ok, altho the ISS is one of mankind's greatest feats and being the most expensive manmade object ever, its old, as of the moment it's 23 years old with the first module Zarya being launched by russia on the 20th of November 1998, times are quickly changing and most of her stuff isn't exactly up to date and overtime it would be more expensive to upgrade and maintain the station rather than building a new one, sure it is sad we couldn't retrieve some modules of the station and preserve them in museums which is challenging by itself and would probably require the same amount of money to build the station, like I said the station is old which ofc can be a safety hazard.
@CarrotSlicingCompanyCat aww mann, you're right. Oh well, a bigger and better one will likely be built after we first get through this upcoming global conflict
@BeastHunter @Awsomur @LieutenantSOT it’s true I researched it it says it will retire in 2030
@asteroidbook345 😂
@LieutenantSOT It was revealed to me in a dream
@BeastHunter Yeah👍
@Awsomur No, it’s a CIA plot to build an underwater base out of it to help mankind survive nuclear destruction.
Directed by Michael Bay.
"Space station will crash in the ocean," sounds like the beginning of a B-rate disaster movie to me.
Where did you get this information?
Sad
