If you position the camera at a certain angle, enable orthographic mode and also x-ray mode, it becomes really hard to tell whether you're seeing the bottom or top of the plane, here's an image of what I mean:

This image is from the bottom of the plane btw
@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII wait hol up it was above the and then the what in the EEEEEEEEEE
I swear I thought the canopy's perspective made it look like you took it above the plane
bro this got me i thought it was top side right away lmfao
@Zaineman
Seemed pretty honest to me, english also isn't his first language so that may be the reason it didn't sound honest to you.
The point I was trying to make is that if what he did was against the rules, my edit of ReinMcDeer's F-15 ACTIVE (that only removes a few parts to make it unflyable) would also have been removed since it technically also doesn't "improve" on the plane in any way.
The rules also don't mention anything about asking for permission, I always do so anyways out of courtesy (here's the comment where I asked Rein if uploading the edit of his plane was fine), but you are technically not required to do so as long as you don't bypass the successor system (which felon did not). I can remove the upvote if you want but I doubt his post will get removed since it doesn't seem to break any rules.
@Zaineman He did make it very clear you made the plane: "Thanks Zaineman for this nice aircraft." I'm pretty sure he's not breaking any rules here, or else this plane would have been removed months ago (since all it does is remove a few parts and barely changes the look).
I'm giving myself a headache by constantly making it appear to my eyes as both ways
@Zaineman context pls?
@X99STRIKER Try seeing that image and the one on the pinned comment side-by-side.
I think this from the top.
@goboygo1 You're right actually, the image kind of looks like the top of the plane because of the canopy but it's actually the bottom.
It's actually, literally impossible to tell.
@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII ah
@asteroidbook345 Yeah the effect only works if you have both x-ray and ortho mode active, since x-ray allows you to see both the back and front of the plane at the same time and orthographic flattens everything to 2d, so it's hard to tell what you're looking at.
@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII no, x ray doesn’t turn on orthographic, I think it just messes with depth because everything is translucent
very slight grunt
@asteroidbook345 So this happens because ortographic mode flattens the image? Interesting.
No sense of depth
