zeroOnDeactivate disappears

0 j01sonofsleazy  1.6 years ago

I'm using V1.12.128 version of SimplePlanes. When I try to add a "zeroOnDeactivate" control on an engine (and set it to "true") on Overload, the zeroOnDeactivate control disappears. I set activationGroup variable to 8 (since AG8 is already enabled when you first launch the plane). When I set it to "false", it somehow stays there.

    @PlaneFlightX except when I set it to "True" and play with the plane, closing AG8 doesn't shut the engine off. Guess I have to find a better way to do so.

    @XtarsAgency Either way, it's normal.

    @PlaneFlightX i dont think just a few bytes of text memory affects the whole game like that. The physics engine literally takes 512mb of ram, not to mention that loading up text literally dont need processing powers at all, except for rendering text on planes. Also loading up text is ramless so you can literally use the most weakest computer to load "Dababy" or some like that

    This is normal behaviour, in SimplePlanes, a lot of attributes are hidden if they are set to their normal values, I belive this is to improve performance.
