Wouldn't it be both cool and simple to have something like a functioning radar in-game? It would basically just track entities. Any entity.
With this, we could probably make something like custon radar guided missiles, protection systems, etc.
It has alot of applications and seems simpler to add that previous suggestions made by me and other people.
What do you guys think?

No worries. As for this post, i do agree a radar function would be awesome for a fox 2 missile or awacs setup. But I feel that simple planes won't implement it because the game is intended to be simple.

True, but for this, I meant quite literally every entity like missiles, bombs, parts, etc.
@TheFlightGuySP I don't know, i've never really did anything other than hud-hiding(for screenshots) with the console.
@Bryan5 That's also been partially implemented (also requires command console to locate).
There is an IR signature property, but it doesn't seem to display anything other than it's default value if I remember correctly.
@TheFlightGuySP how would this work with missile guidance then? They would need to implement actual infrared missiles to counter them
@Micmekox Well, since Jundroo has already partially implemented radar cross section (you can find this with some command console searching), an adjustment slider for stealth coating on fuselage parts could be possible.
