I am trying to get mods without begging for people to release a Steam version, when I go to the folders of SimplePlanes, this shows up:
Contents:
Info.plist
MacOS
run.sh
Resources
shortcut.icns
What do I do?

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes OK
@TimsonAviation aside from maps, I don’t really know which mods are compatible.
Ultimately, you still have to download them to find out.
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes What about 'Reentry effects'? Does it work?
@MVC Thank you!
@TimsonAviation this is strange, because all the materials and textures for them are saved correctly. And I'm just working on the bugs and "GridPlane2", but I doubt I can solve your problem. I will also try to put the card in steam, but I do not promise, since I did not succeed last time
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes I downloaded the Grid Plane by @MVC but it is pink all over
@TimsonAviation yeah, there are quite a few mods that aren’t compatible with macOS:
- all of Annedzrue’s mods (except Washington, B.C.),
- GIS maps from the guy with the long string of numbers, specifically those over 2.2 years ago (Wuhu Island works fine though).
- Jundroo City.
- Also, keep in mind that none of mikoyanster’s mods work because he probably lost all of them.
It gets a little annoying that I can’t use this many mods, but at least MisterT and Kennneth’s mods still work on macOS.
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes I succeeded in downloading mod maps but everything is pink, what should I do??
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes I got into the menu, searched SimplePlanes on the search bar and yes, the folder showed up, but there was nothing in it.
@TimsonAviation wait which step have you reached?
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes I accessed the application support menu but I can't find the file. What do I do?
Thanks
To access the library folder, hover over the "Go" bar on the top of the screen and press Option; it should appear in the drop-down menu.
Also, after you click Application Support, do the following:
1. Search "simpleplanes" in the search bar.
2. Make sure it's set to "Application Support" and NOT "This Mac".
3. Scroll to the bottom, and you'll find a folder labelled "unity.jundro...SimplePlanes". That's where all the SP folders are.
I don't have a mac device but I found this here:
Hope it helps.
