So, a while ago, i made a post showing off my current project, a remaster/remake of one of my old fighters.
Well, i finally can show some progress on it!
So, i finally got the doors for the tail gears thanks to @FanDosRussos. Alongside that, i also modified the tail gears to increase rigidity and ground clearence, improved the retracting mechanism, and removed the thrust vectoring in favour of a modified version of my afterburning turbofan engine.
Now, what's left is to finish the cockpit, add detail to the exterior, improve the flight model, and primarily for now, adding actual fuselage airfoils.
Currently, this build has 950 parts, 4.4k Performace Cost. As much as i relate to the mobile struggle since i played on mobile exclusively for the last 4 years, i'm not gonna make a mobile friendly version of this jet, but i probably will on any future builds where parts go a bit overboard.
No need to ask to be tagged, not really a teaser lol.
@ToeTips yes
Hinges, parts on the cockpit. Final version's even more insane
@Mage2IsTriggered
What? Why that high? What fuselages are ya feeding this thing?
T
@XxRxX performance cost isn't calculated purely on parts, in fact, different parts have different performance cost values. This plane features many rotators, hinges and moving parts, parts that have HUGE performance costs compared to others. If it was purely fuselage parts, it would top out at 2000 or 2500
looks really good but not good enough for 4.4k PR
Don't take this the wrong way.
