June 8th, 1954, a Corsair that had the nickname of “Zero killer” After this Corsair shot down bunches of a6m zeros during the Pacific war, this corsair was trying to make a landing on bandit after going to Yeager airport for repairs, the corsair landed too hard and broke the Propeller and twisting the gear, after this the corsair was scraped after it was found out to be beyond repair
