Survey: 95% have a miniature or a portrait of the Baller at home
A survey conducted by the Snowstone Ministry for Education, Culture, and Sports concluded that 95% of the residents have either a portrait or a scale model of Baller Eclipse at their homes, offices, rooms, or anywhere they can think of.
When asked why, here are their responses!
•"She brings good luck to us students, actually. If you offer a portion of your eraser to her portrait, you can get full marks." –Leona Mertelo, student of Gumpeeter High School
•"For every big operation we plan, we put a fluffy hat on her house [which is near our headquarters] and hope that it will be more than a success." –Joseph Kai Yao Sip, Commissioner of the SNC
We sent a copy of the results of the survey to Baller Eclipse herself and she was really happy for her supporters.
This survey was part of programs developed during the Month of Education, Culture, and Sports [which is celebrated every July].
Wright Isles holds elections again
After the arrest and prosecution of former president Velmadir Pfister, the country was governed temporarily by the Council of Nations. This morning, election officers finished counting and declared Philson Kai Bei Shun as the president, with ninety thousand votes!
"Let's make a new era for the Wright Isles! Every senseless thing made by my predecessor should be undone as soon as possible, including the damage she has caused for the country." –Philson Kwai Bei Shun's campaign speech
What's more surprising is that Kwai won, even after multiple attempts of election-rigging by Pfister loyalists! The first thing he did? He had Pfister's extravagant mansion demolished in order to build housing and business projects for the island's residents who are living in poverty, removed loyalists from government jobs, freed people who were jailed under Pfister's questionable leadership, assisted families in searching their missing relatives, and so much more.
After the inaguration, which happened after, he personally allowed embassies and the High Commission to return.
WEATHER
Today, we have experienced rainy weather with temperatures reaching up to 10°C, winds blowing 7kph heading southeast, and light rain. Expect heavy rains tomorrow. Motorists are to drive carefully as the rains may affect visibilty and roads.
@SPAircraftOfficial Of course, since during Pfister's time they crashed our planes at any enemy. Not sure how did Pfister think that crashing a plane on some target is considered honourable.
