So, this has actually been quite a project.

Not the building, but the actual hell of finding good photos and blueprints. There are only a handfull of photos of this unique monster.

So let me introduce you to Belgian State Railways No. 2096 Built in Belgium in 1932. See middle locomotive

This is the worlds only quadroplex that was ever constructed, it was so powerfull it broke the couplers at the time.

This is the most powerfull steam locomotive ever constructed with a tractive effort of 275,000 lbf.

However during WW2 it was captured by Nazi germany in
1943, and was split in 2 seperate locomotives. See last image After the war it was captured by the soviets. The Soviets wanted to make a hexaplex version of it see first image, but that was never realised.

So well becouse of it benig the pinnacle of belgian rail technology, i built a replica with the limited info still available. I am still a rookie, so not everything is perfect about it.

So this might be the only 3D model of it in existance, you may use the images to build it in simpleplanes. psst: it will spare you of 5 hours of research. . Since simpleplanes is better with small details i'd love to see this locomotive driving around Scratchoza's railway map.

@winterro me too, the hexaplex may even do like twice as much maybe like a 36 kilometer train?

@XtarsAgency I still ask myself why it exists. In fact it has double the tractive effort of the big boy locomotive, wich has a tractive effort of 135,375 lbs.

This thing had enough tractive effort to haul a 20 kilometer train, or 1320 freight cars. Just why.

The fact that a Quadruplex is enough to rip the couplers apart im actually concerned about the Hexatuplex one tbh
