I've been thinking about this lately, when I discovered this game 1.3 years ago, I obviously went looking for it on the playstore, and came across the the price,So, as a good game tester, I pirated it, and I started to like the game, I made planes, cars, tanks and many things, I got silver, and then gold, after a long time the update came and I realized one thing: I didn't have I bought the game until now, I hadn't bought it because I was afraid it wouldn't be good, but now after a long time, I remembered that and bought it while I was building the su-30, I'm not encouraging you to pirate some games, even because some are really worth the price,However, if you pirated just to see the game and then liked it, wouldn't it be a gesture of gratitude to buy it?
Am i the only one who will never buy SP?
how did you pirate it?
5 to 15 buck isn't an arm and a leg so I bought it.
Honestly, I was at the same boat, but for different reasons
I pirated the game because I did not have the money to buy the game at the time (I was 13) , and I was looking for sandbox games where you build vehicles.
I did buy the game once I had the money, so yeah
Also that was 4 fcking years ago holy I am getting old
I bought the game on iOS but when I switched to Android I just pirated it from 5play
Bought it twice.
As a gift on Christmas 2016, Steam on Mac, then got it on IOS later that night.
Mostly played IOS 'cause convenience and I could actually download things. Eventually the device broke, lost password stuff prevented data transfer.
I believe I stopped using mobile before making my account... I'd guess. All I know is that I've only ever uploaded a single craft from mobile and the device barely turned on.
Doesn't turn on at all anymore.
I will never recover all those early planes...
I originally got SP for free from Amazon underground, then bought it after it shut down
.
I have it on every platform except for IOS and have it purchased on Google play, steam, and Amazon app store. I got the VR versions for free as I was an alpha tester for them. (In fact, I'm pretty sure I still don't even have the retail version of SPVR on steam, I only have the playtest version. doesn't matter as owning either unlocks VR in the base game.)
.
I do pirate SP version 1.8 because android mods
@Police
"911 what is your emergency?"
this guy pirated a game
I paid for it and have paid for it 3 times in total: On android, IOS, and on Steam. Never played it before I bought it.
@DatMaluchGuy19 Camodo pretty cool
I've bought it twice, once on iPad in like the month after it launched and then again on Steam a few years ago when I finally got a computer that could run it.
I've bought it twice in my 2.5 years of playing.
First time was on my old Steam account (lost to time and space on an old nonfunctional email address).
Second time was on my current Steam account, when they announced the new 1.12.200.0 update.
I had gotten a new laptop last year and didn't have access to my old Steam account to move game files over, so I just manually moved the game via thumbdrive (which unlinked it from Steam altogether).
When 1.12.200.0 was announced I decided to repurchase the game so I'd have the latest version.
Guess it didn't help much since I ended up downgrading to 1.12.128.0 again.
I do have the fie backup feature though, so that's nice.
I have it on google and steam
I might have pirated it on android for a bit in the v1.4 days (i'm old), luckily that package only had an easy-to-remove adware on it but still stupid
I’ve bought two mobile copies and two steam copies + Vr which I can’t even play
@DatMaluchGuy19 I came from Camodo gaming too
I’ve paid for SP three times…
@32 i did purchase sp, and its all thanks to camodo gaming, dang, the memories are coming back, and its hitting me HARD man fr.
I did, the main reason as to why i even purchased sp in the first place is because of camodo gaming gameplay videos, i thought sp is cool, so... i bought it! and oh boy did i not regret that decision at all.
So I tend to be against piracy if it is not truly victimless. For instance, if most people pirated SP, the developers would not be making enough money to keep the site up and running. However, it seems to me that you did the right thing and paid for the game, so I find it hard to find an issue with that. I would compare that to borrowing a friend's PC or console or something to try out a game, then actually buying it later. One individual does not harm Jundroo by getting SP for free, but if piracy becomes widespread and people are choosing it as an alternative then that is a problem.
Personally, I am also not opposed to emulation, as it isn't harming anyone. If you actually paid for a used console and game that is out of production, the game company still wouldn't make any money, which is why I'm fine with emulating something like say MarioKart Wii.
I'm
