If you’re going to upvote a plane at least download it. That’s the reason why is here because either you like it or not (no offense to players).

@Stinky Shit
@Graingy Me when I spread misinformation on the internet:
@Stinky huh.
I’m gonna believe you and assume you aren’t doing a Misinformation Moment(TM)
@Graingy Yes.
Andrew said it himself.
@Stinky ??? uploads, you mean?
And, out of curiosity, where did you find this?
@Graingy i'm saying the count is almost always inaccurate to 100 or below 100, so a craft could get in reality 6 upvotes but the site would say 96, or vice versa.
@Stinky as someone who has only gotten above 100 downloads a couple of times, that has odd implications.
@Graingy No, Hell no. Download counts are inaccurate to the 100s. Its a 10 year old site lol.
@Stinky They are?
Surely after a while they'd update to accurately reflect?
@Graingy The plane looks fine. Also just to note download counts are quite innacurate
@Stinky what I’m saying is that only 4 of those upvotes could have been earned because only 4 people had downloaded.
People aren’t playing it, but still upvote it.
The plane doesn’t even look good, leading me to believe they didn’t even upvote it because of the plane itself, only because it was an open slot to throw more points through.
@Graingy So is your problem people are upvoting it or not playing it? WHy would someone want to play something that is in your words only worth 4 upvotes?
@Stinky Okay?
My point was that my GT-30 wasn't being played. People were just throwing, as you said, useless internet points at it.
Those points didn't feel earned because they were coming from people who hadn't actually used the craft.
And it was no looker! I literally meant it to be simple. It doesn't even look nice, so it's not like it can claim a place as a sort of "artwork", even.
At most 4 of those upvotes meant something. At most.
@Graingy Its all just internet points. You make a plane to share on the site, if it gets seen by enough people it begins to trend. If you make a name for yourself, say for example BogdanX. He made visually functional planes, But not funtionally functional(?) planes, They all felt the same. He grew a cult following because of new users seeing him at the top. He genuinely believed he was the best maker on the site, which led to his downfall. Points system brings the worst out of people
@Stinky no crap.
I’m just some random user who, truthfully speaking, isn’t Gold in any more than the strict definition of having over 500 points. In terms of skill, I’m hardly bronze.
It also means that people clearly weren’t upvoting because they thought it was a functionally capable craft.
@Graingy that means your post wasnt seen enough.
@Stinky for a time my GT-30 “Norman II” had 4 downloads to 12 upvotes.
Currently it’s 11 to 12.
@Graingy Ive Never seen a build with 80 upvotes and less than 80 downloads, My b-17 got 72 Upvotes, With 4k downloads
I only get access to SP for 2-3 hours a day sooooooo
