Did anyone notice? The first thing I saw was that the word 'upvote' was in all caps ('UPVOTE'). When I pressed it, it said 'WORKING IT…', and then 'REMOVE UPVOTE', without reloading the page. This is very likely a new mechanism or something in the code by the devs, and I like it.
I noticed...
@DatFiat126Guy19
Thats what an Ip ban is.
The site won't have to reload when i upvotes again, hooray
@Speedhunter ok
Here's what I believe is going on:
(Just an opinion so take with grain of salt)
The site is being updated so it would be the same one used for Simpleplanes2.... It may seem like it makes no sense at first... But backwards compatibility is one of the key features in the game, so logically, instead of buying a new domain, servers and etc, the devs would more likely opt to improve the current server, and just move all the SP1 builds to a "Legacy" category, while the SP2 builds are put in the spotlight, both preserving site history and saving cost
@TheMouse and i also really hoped that andrew himself updates as to how account logins work, just so that alt accounts from the same person behind said banned accounts couldn't work and would instead add up to the strikes.
It's even more convenient this way
I’ve been here for many years.
This is weird.
Not necessarily bad, but totes weird.
that’s pretty nice
@DatFiat126Guy19
I hope so, but he was pretty busy, so I think he is still working on it.
@TheMouse did he also update site security too to prevent bots?
@Majakalona yes
@G2 you mean upvoter everything in your jet stream?
Bro the new button is meh...
@G2
Nope. You still cannot. But at least the timer is not as slow as the Juno website.
@Majakalona thank god, now i can upvote bomb in peace
and it gives a popup instead of a page!
Link to a upvoter cooldown page
goodbye popup pages....
Indeed, it's a nice touch.
Thats cool
Yup. Andrew updated it this morning. It was super glitchy at first, but he fixed it, so it seems to work quite well now.
U saw it too...
