I have noticed over the past month, some planes aren't very stable. Most WWII planes have long wings and they are quite far forward, making it tail heavy and unstable at low speeds. Modern planes usually have highly swept back wings that are more far back... resulting in planes that cant even pitch up at relatively slow speeds. This means, for most of my planes i need to put a strong gyroscope, limiting manuverability (yes i spelled those right, i think.) Is there any way I could make my planes more stable without needing a gyroscope?
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/deeUqn/IF-14-StarCat-Fase-2 also you can use funky tree to make plane more stable like this guy
if you open xml on wing.you will see control surface click it.and you will see "maxDeflectionDegree"it limit the angle of control surface.if you plane blue curcle and red curcle are to close you can make point of"maxDeflectionDegree" lower so the plane can fly stable without lose control even red and blue curcle are too close.
Wait rlly?
@THEOKPILOT Look at the CoM CoL and CoT and try to not have the three of them close together.
I also kind of need my planes wing to stay where they are....
