@DC10AirTanker914 They could work, but there is a concern beyond who'll host it. The immense amount of GIFS would probably tank the perfomance, not of the server side, but client side.
In simple words, the site would take longer to load up than usual... that is if your browser doesn't crash while loading that many GIFS.
Besides, I don't think there is an innate need for GIFS. I'd much rather users take time to take a single good shot from something instead of having to run a video.
@GalaxiesDontSlleep like me, I'm gold. But don't you think gif pfps will work? In discord, you need to have nitro so you can have access to all features. Including gif pfps.
@SILVERPANZER What? Gravatar handles the Profile pictures, not the simpleplanes Server host.
as long as the SP site devs come up with an optimized limit for GIF's, you should be golden.
No, then developers will have to buy a huge and powerful server, which is very expensive.

@SILVERPANZER Doesn't Gravatar handle the avatars?
The BeamNG forum has this and I am kinda jealous of it lol
@SILVERPANZER you deserve a pin.
