It's a bird............. Also some maths

Its literally a bird. What did you expect?

came for maths? Here you go. I figured out how to find target heading (bearing to target) from a non primary cockpit using it's position and target position. I am sure it's already done, but i figured this out myself and i am proud of it. Don't let this fool you, I am NOT good at maths.

Solution for the Glide bomb heading problem I have been facing.

what it does

Or Graingy, if you're not a sissy.

@ComradeSandman exactly. And you know what? I just completed a successful test where I launched the bomb fom an aircraft and it hit.

@overlord5453 So let me see if I'm getting this right:
Every cockpit part on an aircraft measures its own position/velocity/etc.
Each of these, for each part, can be assigned a corresponding control output.
FT can be used to make the cockpit try point at(?) the selected target, or point where the velocity of both dictates they'd meet.
The outputs can be used to control specially assigned control surfaces to fly the missile.
Did I get that right? Keep in mind my FT experience is literally zero beyond stealing ammo count screens out of the new stock craft.

@ComradeSandman i know you are grain (it was obvious the moment I saw you for the first time here on the website).
How do secondary cockpit fit in here? Well Cockpits have a variable menu containing pitch, roll and yaw angle and their rate, heading angle and it's position (latitude, longitude and altitude). You can assign custom output names to each of them and get the respective values even if they get disconnected from the main craft itself. And you can add as many as you want. By using them as the brain of the bomb, I essentially turn them into a seperate aircraft with its own flight data that is in no way connected to the primary cockpit. And the bomb will be flying using the flight data from the flight computer attached to it. TargetHeading in relation to a non primary cockpit was the final piece that was missing from the equation and now I have it. This will help with making completely autonomous, FT guided bombs and missiles or some other stuff.

To be clear, I am Grain. Same person as behind Graingy. I just checked my personal account.
I have a tendency to converse across the two.
Anyways, how do secondary cockpits fit in? And how do you plan to keep the bomb working once disconnected?

@ComradeSandman I don't know, but it works. Now all I have to do is write a code that gives me the output I want depending on the situation.

@Graingy i don't know how to explain. I basically create a triangle using target position and bomb position. Then I find the angles that helps me to find TargetHeading that depends on the flight computer on the bomb and not the primary cockpit. Added a new image that will probably help to better understand this.
By the way, TargetHeading depends on the primary cockpit position and will change with its movement. That's why my bomb stopped working when disconnected from the primary cockpit.
And no, I am not Italian. But triangles are cool.

    I suck at math. Explain.
I see funny triangle stuff (you're not Italian, are you?), but I'm not sure what the objective is.
Also, what's that about non-primary cockpits? Are additional cockpits not inert?
