(off topic) any recommendations for a good user friendly professional digital art software?

314 YarisHatchback  2 months ago

i really and i mean really wanted to draw stuff using digital art, whether it's drawing my oc's or anything from my imagination really, but the only problem is that most of them are really complex and not beginner friendly at all despite watching/re-watching tutorials atleast 10-20x so... do you guys have any personal recommendations? (and no, ms paint or anything similar to it doesn't count, scanning too)

edit: i couldn't respond to y'all on my own posts directly because a few hours ago i blocked myself thinking it was funny somehow, safe to say i regret doing that xd

edit 2: finally able to unblock myself yippee

    @Graingy you can download fonts, different like paint brushes or unique tools to do projects with, stuff like that
    .
    There's a lot out there, so I'm generalizing, but it's really nice. And it allows layered work

    GIMP :troll:
    I use it since it's enough for the kind of art i want to make, but you shouldn't use it to draw unless you have experience with it

    @Graingy True that
    .
    I personally prefer Paint.net. It's like MS paint, but possesses a huge amount of addons you can download online. I use it for mapmaking

    Anyways, got a windows device by any chance?
    MS paint. I don't care if it's limited, limits are only real for the weak.
