just like the title, why can gyroscope auto orient upside down???
what tells the gyroscope wich is way is up?
i put the gyro and the cockpit un-rotated
im not using any propulsion, just rotators and wing
i tried wing, its still wanna go upside down
its happening worse with shaking when gyro speed and stabilizer above 100%
@hpgbproductions it is, when i place it, its facing the right direction, i was thought maybe the gyro was orienting itself by something else to decide wich way is up pf the aircraft..
for now, low stability and speed is quite enough, i just cant make the speed too high
Is the gyro itself upside-down on the plane (i.e., actually un-rotated)? The gyro will try to align its local Y axis to the global Y axis.
If not then idk, maybe there is a bug or edge-case behavior with upside-down gyros
My next idea would be to save your current craft. Open a new airplane file and see if gyros act the same way in there. If they act right save your current craft as a sub assembly and drag it into the new airplane file
@ArmouredTrashCan yes, one cockpit only, and no rotation
@griges I see the only reason I could think that would happen is because your cockpit is upside down. Other than that I'm not sure. Make sure you only have one cockpit
@ArmouredTrashCan nope, pure stock gyro... and its going upside down not because input, because the gyro thinks the craft is upside down
Do you have a funky tree input going to the gyro?
I would start by spawning in a new cockpit piece. Then I would check your controls and make sure they're not maxed out one way or another. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what you would do from there
