Hello, everyone!
I'm just gonna throw this out there: I love hearing new conceptual ideas to try in SimplePlanes. Not things like "Make a model of one of these," (I'm not trying to make replicas of real aircraft) but things like, I dunno, a lifting tail design. I love the challenge of trying weird things, so if you have an idea, please let me hear it!
@AmerigoB There, I think I finally made something worth flying!

@MikuKat I like it!
@Phaz3Shift Oh
Maybe an aircraft that only uses engines to
Fly
Pitch
Roll
Yaw (optional)
@ThunderstormAerospaceIndustries @MikuKat Thanks for the ideas! However, I'm looking at something broader than specific airplanes. I'm looking for ideas that are more like "an aircraft that flies by doing this," etc.
@Phaz3Shift Thanks :D Tag me once you make something that works~ Doesn't need to look nice, just be functional :3
PAK-FA\F-18E Concept
@Sunnyskies Thank you!
@Phaz3Shift Nice job!
@Sunnyskies Here is the craft you suggested! It was more difficult than I thought. Good suggestion!

@AmerigoB Still working on your idea! It's just hard to make an actual flying wing. I don't want to cheaply hide a bunch of control surfaces inside of stuff, so it makes things kind of hard!
@Areonautics3 Hmm... I could swear I made one before, but if I did, I must have deleted it or something. Yeah, I can try making a heavy bomber sometime!
@OtterOfToast I just experimented with actual wings attached to rotators again and used more rotators to control pitch, so I think I might be able to make a helicopter setup. I don't know if I can manage an Osprey sort of vehicle; using an engine instead of the wings on rotators is definitely a lot smoother (the wing method shakes like crazy!), but the propellers can only be so large. It looks like the largest they go is only 150 inches. I could use jets, but it would still look so weird to have something so huge have such comparatively small engines! The most viable option I can think of right now would be almost like an airliner, but with rotators attached to the wing roots. I'll keep experimenting, though. Definitely a good challenge!
@Sunnyskies Sure, that shouldn't be too difficult.
@Clawsome So, curved as in using several small wing sections to make a gradual curve instead of just one sweep? That shouldn't be too bad. In fact, I've got kind of a weird, futuristic star fighter-esque picture in my head.
@OtterOfToast Indeed!
@Sunnyskies Exactly .He said he wanted a challenge ;3
A curved(not swept[There's a big difference]) forward wing design.
B-57 Canberra?
@OtterOfToast A fully-loaded Galaxy weighs in excess of 420 tons. You would need some seriously heavy-duty rotors to lift that straight up!
A vertically-mirrored plane that can flown, landed, and taken off either right-side up or up-side down.
Arite-- how's about this:
A hovercraft about the size of a C-5M the U.S' biggest cargo carrier, double-blade like an Osprey with a lifting tale design. You can even make four rotors or jets-- whatever you choose. Just make it work. Maybe we could even colab :D
Heavy bomber
@AmerigoB Hmm... That is definitely a good idea. I love low stall speed planes. Let me see what I can do when I get the chance..
a low stall speed flying wing would be nice
