Hi everybody,
I noticed something yu can build all what you want (without modding) ship, helicopters, planes, cars but no blimps or hotair ballons it would be cool if we can get an option (like fuel, dead weight,...) where we can change the weight (negative weight= -1, -2, -3,....) this weight make parts floating .
Thanks for reading :BirdOfSteel =D
lets talk about blimps

Let's talk about blimps baby, let's talk about blimps| the reason I know the original song is BECUASE my friend would not stop singing it LOL
@Sunnyskies yeah that would be cool. When I saw this it prompted me to play around with negative mass and the craft that weighed less than 2 pounds should have been floating upward if it modeled density correctly. Stuff like that would definitely be what I would want if physics updates come at any point

use the fuselage blocks from Gestours blimps
@Shmexysmpilot I suppose you could code the physics so that if something approaches the density of air, gravity's influence on it is weakened, and when it becomes less dense than air, is overcome. Of course, the ambient air density would change with altitude, which would give balloon-density objects realistic altitude limitations.
@Sunnyskies that would require a lot of changes. For example, right now most parts have different densities in water compared to air. Cockpits for example are very buoyant, but weigh nearly 200 pounds. They are about the size of a long sloped block, or two normal blocks. Both of these would be much much lighter than 200 pounds but unless you use floating blocks they sink like a rock
Or alter the fuselage buoyancy option so that it includes the air.
1-5 is water buoyant, 6-10 is air buoyant. That would be simple enough.
or just a floaty block
