Hello! I apologize beforehand if this mod already exists; However I was looking for/wondering if someone could create a mod that removes explosions from parts that have been shot/broken from hitting something or even being shot?
I found this extremely annoying when my plane gets hit by 1 bullet and instead of the tail or something falling off (Which would look and totally be cool.), it explodes and blows my plane starts into some chain reaction like a fing atom bomb and blows up. Like how the F does that even make sense? A piece of metal can't explode!
I am hoping this is an easy mod to do and will be extremely thankful to anyone who can do it!

What would be better is each block having individual health or something like that i guess... And the explosions only do some damage or push them away and the explosion is determined by the fuel ratio in that block
when trying to shoot my THEL for fun only the gun module blew up and the tower was fully intact lol

I'm sure that the devs tweaked the damage system to be at lest 100 times less sensitive than 1.3, but the issue lies with intersecting parts (how most of us build out craft), I don't have much modding knowledge, but I know it's pretty difficult to edit already existing code in the game

At 10:12 you can clearly see how ridiculous that explosion was; That's what I mean. It definitely ruins the experience of watching the plane fall apart.
@oDDDynamics I understand, however that is an extremely rare case, 99% of the time 1 bullet blows the whole thing up and it's done; Or a missile will make the plane turn into a ball of smoke. I would rather prefer watching my plane in a couple different pieces spiral to its death.
I understand that some people disagree and enjoy looking at smoke however that's not what I am here for and I hope you understand.
