this is the same thing that happened to me a few months ago! This time was creepy! I was beginning to see a pattern in the lights. Like they were made to be stacked line by line (pic 2) I can imagine someone peeing in their pants (its that creepy!) Because of this. Like I said before. It could be a glitch or... Something else...

@AndrewGarrison thanks for the answer! My device is just a grubby New Kindle. I have the pre underground version of the game. BTW: When I type it does not show the letters on the typing screen but when I exit the typing screen the letters are there. I have had to blindly write my descriptions for ever since 1.3 but I never got around to you about it.
Looks possessed to me, maybe try calling an exorcist. Or maybe your android device's GPU is a bit older and the drivers are buggy. Could be either one of those.
