@noscrews Actually the thing that works best for amphibious and marine vehicles are VTOL engines & nozzles since you can place the air intake overwater and the nozzles under the water. You can also assign the steering controls to the nossle itself by simply changing the input from throttle to roll or yaw. I have some designs you can use as a reference if you like.
