if you use a yaw tail propeller, i suggest you to make it simetrical(propeller on both sides) since helicopters are extremely sensitive to wheight distribution, so take care of where you CoM is located, also try to use a tail wing(vertical stabilizer), so your helicopter flies straigh when at full speed.

@2002drag Use two hinge rotators. On attached to the body of the heli, right above the center of mass. This one should be set to roll, and the hinge should move side to side. Attach one more on top of that, set to pitch. This one should move forwards and backwards. On top of that goes the propellor. Make this one set to vtol to allow for easier speed management. If you need extra help with your design, make an unlisted post, tag me on it, and I will help when I can.

@2002drag It usually works for me. Do you know how to make a swashplate? (The thing that controls the rotor to allow roll and pitch)

Thrust above mass, no lift. I am pretty bad at helicopters, but I will give as much help as I can if you ask specifics.
