Just a small collection of some screenshots I've compiled throughout my time playing SimplePlanes.
What we see here is one of my earliest P-38s moments after shooting down another plane (also visible)
Throughout various design phases of my current Lightning, I subjected it to rigorous damage testing to see just how much the plane could lose and still fly. Managing to land the plane after losing part of the tail was quite impressive. The plane can also be flown without its outboard wings.
With its deadly machineguns and rockets, the P-38 is effective as both a fighter, and a ground-attack plane. The rockets can even sink ships. You might recognize the poor victim plane as my very own Backwood.
When testing my planes, I often try and see if they can operate from carriers. Here, my Skydrop demonstrates that it can land on the Beast.
Not every test goes well, however.
I'll also test how well a plane can fulfill its mission...
Or evade enemy fire.
Oftentimes, dogfight testing creates some hairy close calls.
And when I'm not testing, I'm just playing around with my new toy to discover its uses.
Turns out I could LAND this plane after all!
And when I'm not playing SimplePlanes, you can always find me behind the stick of a simulator.
