I only get 10-30 fps max, and it crashes far more than usual. I'm not doing anything stupid to the game or its physics. I used to be able to run a 2,000-3,000 part build at 50 fps, so I only lost 10 fps. Now I can only run a 500 part build at 30 fps. It crashes and lags horribly at 700 parts. No mods in use, all of the quality settings at low, no traffic ground or air, and I use fullscreen. (who wouldn't?)
I have a Radeon x1600 graphics card and 100 GB. Please help.
Is there anything to do about iOS functionality? I built a 1200 part craft in my phone and now I can't even upload it :/ I tried downloading it on my laptop but can't get the file activated or something @AndrewGarrison
Try forcing SP to run in D3D9 and see if that helps. Instructions here.

I use windows 7, and my cpu Is intel, I think. I run a virus scan every day, and when I use SP, I have nothing running in the background. I can't open the steam window, either. Just the games.
Is your software security program doing something in the background? Or a windows update, etc... They're my most common problems. Also, your graphics card is almost unaffected by part count, that would be your CPU having trouble.
