Hello good people of this game. As you should know, I love ships and I build them all the time, but my later ships have not really been getting as much attention, as i had hoped, so ask you: What do you want me to focus on when building my ships? I can only focus on either a very realistic hull, a lot of intricate details or a full replicated rigg.

i highly recommend going for the details not to many because then it could be crowded because people don't really look at the hull. also color scheme is very important to catch peoples eye and adding to what MrMecha said: adding more functions to a ship will make a ship more enjoyable and interesting.
I'd dare say that simplicity and size gets you the upboats.
