The fastest rotary piston engine driven plane in Simpleplanes, 16 cylinders...
Configurations like this one were previously impossible, but since the invention of the rotary engine, all torque problems on single fuselage aircraft are now solved.

Here it is

For landing gear, couldn't you just use scaled stock gear of some sort because it doesn't have any drag when retracted?

@Testin123 The fastest piston engine in simpleplanes is the X56 (from the Challenger V). This is an attempt at bettering my own records using rotary engines, since rotary engines produce considerably less power, I made a whole new class for rotary engine records only, the world piston powered speed record is a couple 100 MPH faster. The record breaker would be the Challenger VI, this would be the rotary record breaker, but that doesn't sound cool enough :^(.

@Zandgard Took me a couple months to find out, but it's quite easy to understand once you do get it. It's rather hard to build though but definitely worth the fun.

You should name it record breaker, because you broke the record for the fastest piston engine in simpleplanes.
