Nathan, William, and Kevin have made a lot of progress on the 1.7 update. I've been mostly working on SR2, so I pop in every once in a while to check things out. I'm starting to get excited about this update, so I had to share this screenshot showing one of the new features: part damage. Now it's fun to get shot up in SimplePlanes.

@NathanMikeska why does nothing (ie. cubes) collide with anything but your creation. i have a destructable city but it falls through the ground, it dosent do this in unity.
If it’s going to be late this month is it going to be soon? What do you think is the due date, the way things are going now?

Part damage? Like as if we could have a engine fail after getting shot? Also you should add fuel leaks, and that afterburning on jet engines can be toggled!!!!!!
